An ELUME × Lancaster Conservancy outdoor leadership experience

Join ELUME and Lancaster Conservancy for a day of hands-on stewardship, ecological learning, and connection at Robert A. Kinsley Nature Preserve.

As part of ELUME’s purpose to build more conscious, capable stewards, we’re stepping outside the usual context of professional development to learn directly from a living ecosystem. We’ll get our hands dirty, contribute to the restoration of protected land, and explore how the health of our environments shapes the health of our communities, organizations, and work.

This is an opportunity to reset our model of leadership: to see how small actions create larger shifts, how systems are connected, and how personal reflection and growth can lead to more impactful leadership.

Together, we’ll remove invasive plants as part of Lancaster Conservancy’s ecological restoration work, supporting the recovery of native habitats and regional biodiversity. We’ll also take an educational hike with Conservancy staff and make space for coffee, conversation, and connection.

Bring your team, founder friends, collaborators, partners, or simply yourself. This is a meaningful way to use a professional development day to reconnect with purpose, strengthen relationships, and contribute directly to the Conservancy’s stewardship goals.

What to expect

  • Invasive plant removal using loppers and hand saws
